Nuntiare Lesu is proud to promote equal access to education for all qualified candidates through the Kanyidinma + Adebimpe Ojeh Leadership Scholarship.

Nuntiare Lesu supports outstanding academic achievement, thoughtfulness, a long record of service to others, inspired leadership and a commitment to building strong communities across this country and, most importantly, a depth of Christian faith.

Nuntiare Lesu is aware that there are many motivated, high-achieving students. For some of them, a lack of family resources has been a barrier to higher education. With the right support, these students can be successful, build better communities and create positive change. Nuntiare Lesu is committed to providing these opportunities.

The decision to grant a scholarship is based on the following criteria”

(1) High academic achievement 

(2) Financial need

(3) Recognized contribution to your community, and

(4) Additional criteria that are established by the Board of Directors 

The basic process for evaluating applicants and awarding scholarships is as follows:

1)   High Academic Achievement.This is based on your academic transcript, and by testimony to our scholarly excellence that is provided by letter of recommendation by a professor. See section 10 of your application form.

2)   Financial Need. This is based on the financial information that is furnished in section 7 of your application, by information you provided by your letters of recommendation, plus any reinforcing narrative your provide.

3)   Contribution to the Community. This is based on information presented in section 4 (c) of your application form, by information your provided by your letters of recommendation, plus any reinforcing narrative you provide.

 4)   Additional criteria established by the Board of Directors.This Board of Director-prescribed criteria may include: 1) Special community service or volunteerism; 2) residence in a specific geographic area; 3) personal attributes and achievements such as leadership; 4) enrollment in a particular field of study; and 5) other distinctive criteria.
